The good news is that our continued success and business growth has opened up an exciting opportunity for a Stock Controller to join our new team at our Merthyr Tydfil site.  This new role will report into the Warehouse Manager.

Key accountabilities / responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies relating to Health & Safety, Security, Environment and Quality
  • Ensure any documentation requirements are adhered to
  • Ensure any computer systems are operated in line with IT Usage Policy
  • Regularly contribute to continuous improvement activities
  • Generate daily cycle count reports
  • Carry out the daily cycle counts in line with schedule
  • Carry out investigations into any stock discrepancies
  • Complete weekly progress review to ensure cycle count program is adhered to
  • Carry out any ad-hoc requests for stock checks
  • Complete Asset Amendment Forms for approval by the warehouse manager for any stock write on / write off
  • Review the space utilisation report on a regular basis to ensure space is optimised
  • Review activity reports to ensure stock is stored in the best locations to optimise picking and putaway efficiency
  • Monitor stock levels for all Kanban, min/max items and packaging materials to ensure availability in line with usage requirements
  • Responsible for carrying out racking inspections and maintenance  in line with SEMA requirements
  • Develop an ethos of continuous improvement within own role and with colleagues
  • Ensure adherence to all aspects of QHSE within area of responsibility
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative and company / customer requirements within    area of responsibility
